This port requires CXZ Black Diamond Engine for the CXZ version and none for the CXSkin version!

Which version should I use?

CXZ Wrapper
If you've got the CXZ Engines installed then this is perfect for you. The app is only 84MB - saving over 100MB on the CXSkin version!

CXSkin
If you don't want to install the engines and would love to have this as a standalone app then CXSkin version is better for you. The app is 191.3MB however so is much more of a strain on your HD.

Still, Internet Explorer 8 lies as an option. Maybe that would be better question mark?

If wine supported it :/. CrossOver the application supports IE6 & 7 but hates 8. I'll try to get a good port of the app but people've tried before and failed.

This is great. I have a lot of clients asking me for this so they do not need to use windows for certain database accessing.

Thanks a lot

Genius!!! Thanks a lot... this will save me a HUGE amount of time!! I had to swing between two computers (and uploading every new change to a server) just to test if ie6 is rendering my websites in the right way.. Much much better than multiple IE!!!

Thanx a lot... really great idea!

Awesome! I wonder if it'd be possible to port over the ies4linux (I've played around with them a bit on linux for testing purposes) I think it uses wine for linux. I believe it can do several different versions of ie.

This thing appears to be based on an old ies4osx:

This is great! Thanks a lot, jimjimjimbob.
It's a pity we still have to test against this old piece of junk browser, but this wrapped version sure saves a lot of time doing that.

I like to play: Adventure and RPG games, mostly. Zelda is my #1 series.
The only reason why I would need internet explorer is for one of my classes. It requires me to connect to a remote virtual Windows Server 2008 and control it remotely. Go figure, that requires Active X which requires Internet Explorer and, by extension, a Windows Computer.

The website that I need is at http://itacademy.microsoftelearning.com/
I can reach this page with this and the other prominent ported version of IE, but trying to log in always makes IE act as if it is having connection problems. Has anyone had any luck getting this sort of thing to work? Thanks.
